page 153 # 1-4 and 7 – 16. Note - if you have problems with the double digit division problems, just set up the problem the way you would solve it, but you don't have to actually solve it. If you can do it, good for you!

ELA - Paired Passages pages 23 - 32 in booklet
Optional ELA - read COACH beginning on page 109 about how to write a better essay
Thursday Homework -
Read for 25 minutes.
ELA - 3 sheets on sentences
ELA - reading/writing section
Math - test tomorrow. Be sure you know how to:
~ Add fractions (with the same denominators)
~ Subtract fractions (with the same denominators)
~ Order and compare fractions
~Recognize equivalent fractions and be able to reduce a fraction to simplest terms (lowest equivalent fraction)
The material for the test is covered in Lessons 8-4, 8-5, 8-7, 8-9, 9-1, 9-2.
**Reminder to parents about the very important Home School Association meeting for Wednesday night.**
Because of the important meeting tonight, the only homework is in the Rally book.

Reading packet on conclusions and inferences.
ELA - NY Edits
Math - sheet on equivalent fractions and workbook page 104.
Science - read text pages F76 - 81 - and complete sheet (up to that point). Think how what you're reading relates to our discussions about the flashlight and the classroom lights.

Science Fair
Congratulations to all the 4th graders in the class who did such wonderful Science Fair projects.
Special Congrats to our classmates who were awarded prizes tonight.
Primary Level 1st prize and a blue ribbon was awarded to Jack!
Third place and white ribbons were awarded to Shannon and Charlotte!
Honorable Mention and green ribbons were awarded to Anthony and Anthony!
Congratulations to all for a job well done.
Note: There was no homework tonight due to the Science Fair.
