SS Chapter 2 (Lessons 1, 2, 3) (Thursday)  - I'll be discussing this more and going over the review on Monday.

Wordly Wise 11 - Tuesday Feb. 14

Groundhog Map Sheet

Groundhog Reading sheet. Read and list facts on the sheet with the picture of the groundhog.
Religion - During Mass today, Father With asked us to think about how we can carry the light of Jesus into the world. Write a paragraph about how you can do that.


REMINDER - tomorrow is Student Appreciation Day. There is a free dress down. Students are encouraged to wear sports clothes as part of our theme to Team up Against Bullying.

Yes, it's true. No homework tonight - in advance of Student Appreciation Day for Friday since there will be weekend Math homework.

Tuesday Homework

Read for 20 minutes.
Math - do 5 more problems from the sheet (on looseleaf)
Think Reading - pages 81 - 88
Wordly Wise - study for test.

Monday Homework

Work on math problems. Do at least 5 more on looseleaf.

Think Reading - pages 66 - 72

Wordly Wise- Lesson 10 test moved to Wednesday because of Prayer Service with Bishop at 10:30 tomorrow.

RRJ - If you were Percy, would you accept the quest? Use evidence from the story to support your answer.

Science - Draw and label a picture of your bedroom (or any room in your house).

Math - Division sheet and make up 3 division problems of your own.
Note - there is a typo on the division sheet. The question should read:

The school is planning a field trip. There are 450 students and 5 buses. There is room for 50 students on each school bus. Did the school get enough buses? _______  Explain how you know.  

Tangram Story - On looseleaf, write a revised draft of your story. Skip lines and indicate where you will use tangrams to illustrate the story.
